Ghost Wood Kitchen Window Shelf
April 2, 2023Someday we will update our kitchen counters, but until we have the time, I am stuck with the tile! I like to keep small pots in the window because the sun is great here, but the rounded window sill is not too stable. I picked up a piece of ghost wood from Home Depot, and cut it so it was a nice tight fit. I tapped it in gently and it is very sturdy. Just to be sure, I stuck a couple pieces of double stick tape (like the clear Alien tape) underneath. It looks so much better and now the shelf area is wider! Click any image for larger view.
